ROLE OVERVIEW

Medical writing role focused on drafting and reviewing clinical and patient narratives and other clinical-development documents. The position supports high-quality regulatory documentation and collaboration across data management, biostatistics, regulatory affairs and medical affairs.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Compile, write and edit medical writing deliverables with minimal supervision
  • •Draft and review patient and clinical narratives
  • •Develop or support clinical study protocols, protocol amendments, clinical study reports, annual reports and investigator brochures
  • •Review statistical analysis plans and table, figure and listing specifications for content, grammar, format and consistency
  • •Collaborate with data management, biostatistics, regulatory affairs and medical affairs teams
  • •Conduct peer reviews and address review comments for scientific accuracy, clarity and consistency
  • •Perform clinical literature searches and apply relevant regulatory guidance and company/client standards
  • •Mentor less experienced medical writers where required

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1 year of narrative-writing experience with a master's qualification or 2 years with a bachelor's degree
  • Master's/MPharm or bachelor's degree
  • Strong experience drafting and reviewing narratives
  • Strong knowledge of English grammar
  • Knowledge of FDA and ICH regulations and guidelines
  • Familiarity with AMA style guide
  • Ability to interpret and present clinical data and complex information
  • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and Internet

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
