ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Scientific Content Development: Create, review, and maintain high-quality scientific materials including scientific narratives, MSL resources, infographics, standard responses, and digital/non-digital FAQs for healthcare professionals.
Medical Information Response: Deliver accurate, scientifically balanced, and compliant responses to complex medical inquiries from healthcare providers regarding AstraZeneca products.
Evidence Synthesis & Data Translation: Conduct comprehensive literature searches, critically evaluate scientific evidence, and translate complex clinical data into clear, audience-appropriate strategic messages.
Medical Accuracy & Compliance: Perform rigorous medical accuracy reviews to uphold scientific integrity, regulatory balance, and compliance with local/global healthcare regulations.
Cross-Functional & Congress Alignment: Collaborate with global partners to align content with therapeutic priorities, supporting product launches, data releases, and scientific congresses.
Digital & AI Innovation: Implement emerging digital platforms, AI tools, and automation to streamline medical content delivery, improve turnaround times, and scale operational efficiency.
Technical & Domain Standards
Medical Communications: Mastery in literature evaluation, scientific writing, standard response document (SRD) creation, and MSL slide deck design.
Compliance & Regulations: Deep knowledge of medical affairs compliance, copyright/permission standards, and healthcare regulatory guidelines.
Leadership & Workstream Impact
Project Ownership: Lead key workstreams within scientific content generation and medical information services to elevate clarity and support evidence-based decisions.
