Manager, Supply Chain Learning & Organizational Excellence
ROLE OVERVIEW
Amgen India is expanding its Hyderabad site into a strategic supply chain hub, and this Manager role is central to building the learning, governance and organizational effectiveness capabilities that support compliant, uninterrupted delivery of medicines. By leading the Supply Chain Learning & Development program and evolving it toward a comprehensive Supply Chain Academy, the position directly influences how teams onboard, transfer critical knowledge, maintain GxP readiness and execute strategic priorities across Planning, Distribution, Customer Service and Clinical Supply Chain. This is a compelling opportunity for experienced pharma supply chain, quality or L&D professionals who want to shape capability from the ground up, work with global leaders and ensure that learning operations remain inspection-ready while enabling agility and continuous improvement.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Partner with Supply Chain leadership to translate strategic priorities into coordinated plans, milestones, measurable outcomes and governance materials.
- •Establish operating rhythms for initiative tracking, leadership reviews, risk management, decision follow-up and cross-functional dependency visibility.
- •Build, sustain and mature the Supply Chain Learning & Development program, creating foundations for an integrated Supply Chain Academy.
- •Design role-based onboarding, technical/functional curricula, leadership development, continuous learning and knowledge-retention pathways.
- •Execute global GxP learning strategies, ensuring alignment with GMP/GDP, Amgen quality standards and applicable regulatory expectations.
- •Create and maintain Training Assignment Profiles, SOPs, work instructions, job aids and assessment materials using approved templates and workflows.
- •Serve as SME for LMS operations, training intake, assignments, completion tracking, version control, traceability and inspection readiness.
- •Support audits and inspections; prepare training reports, respond to record requests and collaborate in the GxP Learning Community of Practice.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree with 8–12 years relevant experience, or Bachelor’s with significant experience in Supply Chain, L&D, Quality, Operations or Organizational Effectiveness.
- Demonstrated experience in regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or similarly controlled environment.
- Proven cross-functional program leadership across multiple stakeholders, priorities and dependencies.
- Strong project management skills managing interconnected workstreams with clear leadership visibility.
- Excellent written/verbal communication; ability to synthesize complex information into concise, leadership-ready updates.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions, levels and geographies.
- Experience with GxP training, quality standards and regulatory expectations preferred.
