ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Overview & Leadership Scope
Serve as the Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager leading multi-regional category strategy and execution for Capital Construction, Manufacturing Equipment, and Facility Services purchasing needs.
Report to the Capital and Facilities Business Partner to formulate Go-To-Market procurement plans, conduct deep-dive market analytics, and lead RFI/RFP events.
Lead end-to-end commercial negotiations, supplier selections, and strategic risk management frameworks aligned with business and category roadmaps.
Contracting, Cost Optimization & Data Analytics
Draft, redline, and negotiate complex high-volume procurement contracts in time-sensitive biotechnology manufacturing environments using established legal templates.
Define strict contract scopes, milestones, supplier KPIs, and performance penalty mechanisms in collaboration with cross-functional internal stakeholders.
Leverage advanced data analytics tools to evaluate large procurement datasets, supplier scorecards, and market trends to deliver substantial cost-saving forecasts.
Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, and Cybersecurity departments to enforce risk mitigation policies and sustainability mandates.
Supplier Relationship & Cross-Functional Alignment
Build, maintain, and govern strategic supplier relationships to drive innovation, service quality, safety, and long-term commercial value.
Guide and mentor junior sourcing team members, cultivating operational rigor, continuous improvement, and cross-functional leadership.
Act as an enterprise trusted advisor, aligning regional and global business priorities across manufacturing and facility functions.
