ROLE OVERVIEW
Manage direct procurement of packaging materials for commercial sites and R&D locations, ensuring timely purchase orders, vendor coordination, delivery tracking, quality documentation, and procurement reporting.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Create purchase orders for commercial sites and R&D locations against approved SAP indents
- •Achieve on-time delivery targets and resolve VQ errors with the CQA team for timely purchase-order release
- •Derive costing for printed packaging materials using updated costing and e-bidding files
- •Follow up with vendors on orders, deliveries, payments, rejections, investigations, and CAPA closures
- •Share weekly pending-order lists with updated delivery timelines and coordinate artwork through the AMS system
- •Update MDM data including MOQ, lead time, HSN code, purchase group, and other required fields
- •Prepare monthly MIS reports, coordinate vendor audits and quality agreements, and support new product launches
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to the relevant Global Procurement management structure; works cross-functionally with commercial sites, R&D locations, CQA, artwork teams, accounts, and external vendors

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate qualification
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
- SAP expertise
- Advanced or strong Excel skills
- Experience in procurement or packaging-material purchasing and vendor coordination
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Experience in pharmaceutical packaging procurement
- •Knowledge of CQA and vendor quality processes
