ROLE OVERVIEW

Drive commercial growth and market development for Illumina's reproductive and genetic health portfolio across India by developing strategic customer relationships, increasing clinician engagement, supporting genomic workflow adoption, and commercializing new applications.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve annual revenue, consumables and growth targets
  • Develop strategic business plans and identify new business opportunities across hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and fertility/genetic testing centers
  • Build relationships with clinicians, laboratory directors, geneticists and key opinion leaders
  • Organize scientific meetings, workshops, CMEs, roundtables, webinars and educational programs
  • Drive adoption of sequencing platforms, library preparation solutions and genomics workflows
  • Lead commercialization of new reproductive and genetic health applications
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights and customer feedback
  • Manage strategic accounts, channel partners, opportunity forecasting and CRM documentation
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports within Illumina's commercial organization and collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Applications, Technical Support, Service, Commercial Operations and channel partners

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree or PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Genomics or related discipline
  • 5-10 years of experience in genomics, molecular diagnostics, reproductive health, clinical diagnostics, life sciences or related healthcare markets
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, market development or commercial roles
  • Experience engaging clinicians, healthcare providers, service providers and healthcare institutions
  • Strong understanding of genomics technologies, sequencing workflows and clinical applications
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced scientific or business degree
  • Experience with reproductive health or clinical genomics commercialization
