ROLE OVERVIEW

Senior SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect role focused on Order-to-Cash processes across Amgen's manufacturing and distribution sites. The position requires deep SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution expertise, cross-module integration knowledge and experience delivering complex ERP solutions in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Design, configure and implement SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash processes covering order management, billing, invoice management, distribution and logistics
  • •Design integrations between SAP SD Advanced Intercompany and SAP modules including MM, FI, PP, TM, ATTP, GTS, EAS, Vistex and EWM
  • •Conduct architectural reviews and risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
  • •Create and maintain technical assessments, configuration specifications, functional designs, test cases, user manuals and compliance documentation
  • •Participate in ERP blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live and post-production support
  • •Participate in SAFe sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
  • •Debug solutions and perform root-cause analysis for business and technical issues
  • •Develop innovative solutions leveraging AI/ML and leading practices to improve speed to value
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports within Amgen's enterprise IT/ERP architecture organization and works closely with Operations IT, business stakeholders, manufacturing/distribution teams and cross-functional SAP teams

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Doctorate degree
  • OR Master's degree in computer science or STEM with 4-6 years of SAP S/4 SD implementation experience
  • OR Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM with 6-8 years of SAP S/4 SD implementation experience
  • OR Diploma in computer science or STEM with 10-12 years of IT or SAP implementation experience in SAP S/4 SD
  • Strong hands-on experience configuring SAP SD sales, delivery and billing processes including advanced intercompany, pricing, ATP, credit management and STOs
  • Strong understanding of Global Trade Services, distribution/logistics and warehouse-management processes
  • Ability to design solutions from business requirements and perform debugging/root-cause analysis
  • Ability to create detailed functional specifications, test cases and compliance documentation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • •SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution
  • •Experience with Transportation Management and ATTP
  • •Experience integrating SAP S/4 SD with Salesforce, Vistex, Model N or ATTP
  • •Agile methodology experience
  • •Knowledge of Business Partner setup, FSCM, MDG and Fiori Apps
  • •Agile Certified Practitioner certification
