ROLE OVERVIEW
Specialist role supporting AI-enabled manufacturing innovation across Amgen's global manufacturing network. The position bridges manufacturing subject matter experts and technical development teams to deliver compliant, scalable digital capabilities.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Support deployment of TWFS manufacturing capabilities and site transitions
- •Conduct knowledge transfer, onboarding, and stabilization activities
- •Capture manufacturing process knowledge, requirements, and operational constraints
- •Provide subject matter expertise across MES, MBR, finite scheduling, sensing, data integration, or performance management
- •Translate manufacturing processes into functional system and data requirements
- •Partner with AI/Data, UX/UI, engineering, Product Leads, and SMEs on solution design and MVP development
- •Assess GxP, validation, data integrity, auditability, and regulatory requirements
- •Support testing, user validation, deployment, and multi-site scaling
Reporting Hierarchy: Individual contributor collaborating with Sr Managers, Product Leads, manufacturing SMEs, Quality, AI/Data, UX/UI, engineering, and global manufacturing stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree
- 8-13 years of experience
- Manufacturing systems or related technical experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •4+ years of biopharmaceutical manufacturing, manufacturing systems, or related technical experience
- •Expertise in MES/electronic batch records, finite scheduling/planning, manufacturing data systems, sensing/digital dashboards, or performance management
- •Experience with GxP, validation, and data integrity
- •Product management and modern delivery practices
- •System implementation, process improvement, or digital initiative experience
