ROLE OVERVIEW

Lead complex clinical trial site contract and budget negotiations, governance, escalations and process improvements for BMS-sponsored research. The role provides strategic oversight, negotiation expertise, training and quality governance across global clinical contracting operations.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Lead execution of BMS Sponsored Research Agreements with investigators and institutions
  • •Develop, negotiate and oversee site-level and country-level clinical trial budgets
  • •Drive global contracting strategies using master agreements, rate cards and therapeutic-area frameworks
  • •Manage study-level contracting strategies to accelerate site activation and enrollment
  • •Serve as the final escalation point for legal and budget queries
  • •Monitor contract and budget status and provide strategic updates to leadership
  • •Develop negotiation templates, decision histories and fallback language libraries
  • •Drive process improvements, automation, standardization, governance and training initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Life Sciences or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of direct clinical contract negotiation experience
  • Deep expertise in clinical trial site contract and budget negotiation
  • Strong understanding of legal, financial and compliance requirements
  • Experience leading teams and managing complex projects
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and conflict-resolution skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
