ROLE OVERVIEW

Serve as the scientific face of Johnson & Johnson's Oncology organization by engaging Key Opinion Leaders, sharing clinical evidence, gathering insights, and supporting medical strategy and access to innovative therapies.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Identify, map, and profile Key Opinion Leaders in the assigned geography and Oncology therapy area
  • •Engage KOLs through medical affairs initiatives aligned with the overall franchise plan
  • •Represent the Oncology therapeutic area on relevant cross-functional teams and internal or external initiatives
  • •Gather customer insights and communicate them to the franchise team
  • •Receive and process scientific information requests from healthcare professionals
  • •Provide scientific support and regular medical-development training to the sales team
  • •Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement medical strategy and support access to new products and indications
  • •Travel 70-80% for customer and stakeholder interactions

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Medical graduate with MD, MBBS, BDS, or MDS
  • Pharmaceutical university degree such as PharmD or PhD
  • 0-2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Good understanding of the Medical Affairs function
  • Understanding of local regulatory policy and industry codes of practice related to drug registration, pharmaceutical promotion, and clinical research
