ROLE OVERVIEW

Field-based Medical Science Liaison role focused on Cardio-metabolic diseases, scientific exchange with healthcare experts, medical insights, strategic territory planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Maintain deep and current scientific knowledge in the assigned Cardio-metabolic therapy area
  • •Engage scientific experts and provide accurate, unbiased, evidence-based medical and product information
  • •Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare and scientific experts
  • •Identify customer questions, insights, collaborative research opportunities, and external collaborations
  • •Synthesize complex clinical data and communicate meaningful insights to medical and cross-functional teams
  • •Contribute to medical planning and affiliate strategy
  • •Develop, execute, and evaluate strategic territory plans
  • •Prioritize field activities and manage multiple priorities independently
  • •Ensure compliant execution of activities according to applicable laws, procedures, and requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree in health sciences such as MBBS, BDS, MD, MDS, or PhD in a medically related field
  • Strong scientific and medical knowledge
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role
  • Willingness to travel extensively in the assigned geography

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • •Previous MSL or field-based experience of at least 2 years in the Cardio-metabolic therapy area
  • •Medical degree
