ROLE OVERVIEW
Lead analytical and product development activities within Abbott's Established Pharmaceutical Products division, supporting new product opportunities, development teams and business plans.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Identify and investigate emerging new product opportunities within the assigned portfolio
- •Manage staff involved in design, development and testing of selected new products
- •Support formulation and implementation of business plans for product development
- •Solve product design, financial, marketing and administrative challenges
- •Monitor new product trends and market developments
- •Coordinate product development activities with relevant business functions
- •Support delivery of product development objectives within the Established Pharma division
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports within Abbott's Established Pharmaceutical Products division and works with product development and business stakeholders; Manages staff involved in product design, development and testing

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent 16-year education
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience in product development or a related field
- Ability to manage staff and development activities
