ROLE OVERVIEW
Endoscopy Technician responsible for assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures, equipment maintenance, and patient preparation in Bangalore.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Prepare and sterilize endoscopy equipment and instruments prior to procedures.
- •Assist physicians and nursing staff during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
- •Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination.
- •Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of endoscopes and related accessories.
- •Maintain accurate logs of procedures, equipment usage, and sterilization cycles.
- •Ensure compliance with hospital infection control policies and safety protocols.
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to Biomedical Engineering / Nursing Supervisor • Team size: 3-5

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing, or related technical field.
- Basic understanding of endoscopic equipment and sterilization procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to hospital hygiene standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Experience in a hospital or clinical endoscopy unit.
