ROLE OVERVIEW

Manage hospital pharmacy operations, dispense medications accurately, and ensure strict compliance with pharmaceutical guidelines.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Dispense prescription medications and manage inventory.
  • •Monitor stock levels and track medicine expiry dates.
  • •Provide patient counseling on medication use.
  • •Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards.
  • •Coordinate with clinical staff for drug availability.
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to Chief Pharmacist • Team size: 3-5

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
  • Valid State Pharmacy Council registration
  • 0-2 years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • •Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
  • •Strong communication and customer service skills
