ROLE OVERVIEW
Support end-to-end dataset preparation and data management activities for complex studies, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely deliverables. The role combines dataset generation and QC, client communication, software validation support, workload management and emerging leadership responsibilities.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Review study documents such as protocols and reports to gather information for dataset preparation
- •Generate and quality-check dataset files for regulatory compliance
- •Address client inquiries regarding study dataset content
- •Compile metadata for databases supporting nonclinical safety assessment when required
- •Write and execute software validation test scripts and maintain lifecycle documentation
- •Train and mentor new data associate team members
- •Manage complex study workloads and schedules to meet client deliverables
- •Participate in peer reviews, presentations, process improvement initiatives and cross-site collaboration
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to the relevant Data Management Solutions leadership; collaborates with data associates, senior data management staff, study directors, QA associates, clients and cross-site teams

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science
- Ability to perform dataset preparation and quality checking with limited supervision
- Ability to manage study workloads and meet dataset preparation schedules
- Basic knowledge or experience with programming applications or formulas such as SAS, R or Python, or willingness to learn within one year
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •2+ years of experience working with SEND or HCD datasets
- •2+ years of experience with scientific and medical terminology
- •Experience with software testing and validation
- •Experience with client-facing communication or data management activities
