ROLE OVERVIEW
Senior clinical research role responsible for selecting, contracting, overseeing, and governing external vendors supporting clinical trials. The position focuses on quality, timelines, budgets, regulatory compliance, GCP standards, and vendor performance.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Select and qualify external clinical trial vendors
- •Manage vendor contracts and clinical trial budgets
- •Oversee vendor performance, quality, timelines, and deliverables
- •Support clinical trial execution and vendor-related activities
- •Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GCP guidelines, and company standards
- •Identify and manage vendor-related risks
- •Prepare performance reports and support governance activities
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to a senior clinical research/clinical development leader; Cross-functional collaboration with clinical operations, quality, regulatory, procurement, finance, and external vendors

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10-15 years of relevant work experience
- Master's degree in Biotechnology or Life Science
- Experience in clinical trial vendor management or clinical research operations
- Knowledge of GCP and clinical trial quality requirements
- Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Experience managing CROs or other clinical trial service providers
- •Experience with vendor contracts, budgets, and cost control
- •Strong understanding of clinical development processes
- •Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments
