ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Clinical Rating & Scale Administration: Administer validated stroke-specific scales including EQ-5D-5L (Interviewer administered and Proxy 1 version) and Modified Rankin Scale (mRS) to trial participants.
Assessment Review & Quality Assurance: Review and evaluate stroke assessments conducted by other clinical trial raters for accuracy, data quality, and strict protocol adherence.
Live Rater Coaching & Feedback: Conduct live interactive sessions with raters to provide constructive feedback on scoring techniques, administration methodology, and inter-rater reliability.
Calibration & Documentation: Participate in training, orientation, and calibration sessions to maintain study certification. Review case data, prepare for rater discussions, and complete scheduled rater interactions with prompt submission of documentation.
Functional Evaluations: Assist with mock interviews, functional assessments, and performance evaluations of trial raters as required.
Technical & Domain Standards
Clinical Scale Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in administering EQ-5D-5L and Modified Rankin Scale (mRS) within clinical research settings.
Therapeutic Area Domain Knowledge: Clinical background in neurology and stroke management to evaluate trial data integrity and scoring consistency.
Language Proficiency: Fluent professional Urdu language capabilities to effectively conduct participant ratings and inter-rater feedback sessions.
Leadership & Impact
Data Quality Enhancement: Drive standardized clinical evaluation across study sites, directly safeguarding data integrity and trial regulatory outcomes.
Rater Coaching: Provide real-time methodology guidance and coaching to maintain high inter-rater reliability across clinical sites.
