ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Assist the Regional Compliance Lead in drafting and updating compliance policies and operational procedures for India operations based on regulatory changes.
Ensure effective implementation and functioning of the corporate Compliance Program in accordance with local Indian laws and global pharmaceutical regulations.
Develop communication collaterals and lead compliance training sessions to increase regulatory and policy awareness among employees.
Assist in automating compliance processes, maintaining the governance calendar, and creating monitoring dashboards/reports for governance meetings.
Conduct quarterly internal compliance monitoring to assess internal controls, identify operational risks, and recommend remediation steps.
Review and approve business activity plans involving Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Healthcare Organizations (HCOs), and Third-Party Representatives (TPRs).
Support the International Emerging Markets team with Third-Party Due Diligence, risk remediation, and exception/deviation tracking across regional activities.
Technical & Domain Standards
Ensure compliance with local Indian healthcare legislation, anti-corruption regulations, and corporate legal compliance frameworks.
Enforce records retention guidelines, data privacy rules, and internal monitoring standards across business activities.
Manage documentation and remediation workflows for business exceptions, policy deviations, and audit findings.
Leadership & Impact
Drive an active compliance culture through innovative employee engagement activities and targeted training programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align commercial and operational goals with ethical compliance standards.
