ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up, prime, and operate haemodialysis machines and extracorporeal circuits with 0.9% normal saline for patients with kidney failure.
Prepare dialysis solutions, mix bicarbonate formulations, and accurately label dialyzers and blood lines with patient details.
Connect haemodialysis equipment to patient vascular access sites and explain treatment procedures to patients.
Monitor hemodialysis machine performance and technical parameters during treatment to detect malfunctions promptly.
Maintain clinical documentation, treatment logbooks, patient forms, and equipment registers accurately.
