ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Overview
Work as a Medical Writer supporting global Medical Affairs and Scientific Communications activities.
Develop high-quality scientific content and medical documentation across multiple therapeutic areas.
Conduct in-depth literature reviews, synthesize clinical and scientific evidence, and translate complex information into clear, accurate and audience-appropriate scientific communications.
Support both short-term and long-term projects across the consumer healthcare, over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription (Rx) pharmaceutical sectors.
Contribute to medical, safety, pre-clinical, clinical, regulatory, educational and promotional content development.
Ensure scientific accuracy, quality, compliance and timely delivery while supporting business and client requirements.
Literature Reviews & Evidence Mapping
Conduct comprehensive secondary research and scientific literature reviews.
Develop effective search strategies for identifying relevant clinical, scientific and medical evidence.
Search and review scientific databases including PubMed, Embase and the Cochrane Library.
Utilize relevant open-source scientific and research platforms.
Prepare overarching literature summaries and evidence-based scientific analyses.
Analyze and interpret clinical and scientific data to identify relevant insights.
Extract actionable evidence and identify important data gaps.
Stay current with treatment trends, clinical guidelines and regulatory updates.
Monitor developments across both OTC and prescription pharmaceutical domains.
Medical & Scientific Content Development

Apply relevant external scientific, publication and regulatory guidelines.

Ensure content is plagiarism-free.
Identify and address scientific evidence gaps where applicable.

Content Review & Quality Assurance
Edit and proofread scientific and medical content.
