ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Vendor Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive third-party vendor risk assessments and due diligence to verify that external products, software, and services align with Sanofi's internal risk posture, data privacy standards, and information security policies.
Procurement Compliance & Control: Collaborate with global procurement teams to establish, monitor, and enhance controls across the end-to-end (E2E) procurement lifecycle, ensuring adherence to global pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Reporting & Data Visualization: Develop and maintain automated dashboards and executive reports detailing Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) metrics, vendor risk factors, audit findings, and compliance KPIs for business unit leaders and executive stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Risk Integration: Partner closely with Global Business Units (GBUs), Procurement category managers, Legal, and Subject Matter Risk Experts to embed risk mitigation frameworks throughout the vendor relationship lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement & Framework Governance: Review existing risk assessment methodologies, identify gaps, and implement industry best practices across Third Party Risk Management workflows.
Technical & Domain Standards
Application of international security and risk frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR privacy mandates.
Proficiency in evaluating security, confidentiality, and data protection clauses within third-party vendor contracts.
