ROLE OVERVIEW

Lead systematic literature review and evidence synthesis projects supporting healthcare and pharmaceutical research. Independently manage research activities, deliverables, timelines and client communications while contributing to high-quality evidence generation.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Define and refine research questions aligned with systematic literature review objectives
  • •Design literature search strategies and algorithms for PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library and grey literature sources
  • •Develop and apply PICOS-based inclusion and exclusion criteria
  • •Oversee abstract and full-text screening and assess study eligibility
  • •Review PRISMA study-flow documentation and validate data abstraction and extraction
  • •Finalize analyzable datasets and draft tables and figures
  • •Synthesize evidence and contribute to reports, protocols, statistical analysis plans, abstracts and manuscripts
  • •Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, proposals and client communications while supporting junior staff and recruitment or training activities
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to senior evidence synthesis/clinical research leadership; collaborates with research associates, senior researchers, project teams and clients

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • PhD in health sciences, economics, biology, natural sciences or related field with relevant experience
  • MSc with significant related experience or Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience
  • Proven experience in systematic literature review methods
  • Experience in health economics and/or health services research
  • Strong research implementation and evidence synthesis capabilities
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • •Experience with network meta-analysis
  • •Commercial experience in a research or consulting environment
  • •Experience with real-world evidence, modeling and simulation
  • •Prior staff supervision, training or line-management experience
