ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) has announced openings for the PV Operations – ICSR Management Apprenticeship at its Bengaluru office. This is an opportunity for pharmacy and life sciences graduates interested in Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) management, drug safety, pharmacovigilance operations, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Process Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) from receipt through expedited reporting.
Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations and internal SOPs.
Collaborate with Safety Evaluation & Risk Management (SERM), Clinical Operations, and Local Operating Companies.
Support investigation of quality issues and contribute to Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Escalate safety concerns and operational issues to PV management.
Assist in process improvement initiatives across global PV Operations.
Coordinate documentation required for audits and regulatory inspections.
Maintain safety databases, collaborative platforms, and document repositories.
Support meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and documentation.
Manage departmental mailboxes and administrative activities.
Assist with onboarding activities and technical documentation.
Promote adoption of digital tools and technologies within Global Safety.

Preferred Qualifications

B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, B.Sc/M.Sc Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, or other relevant healthcare/life science degrees. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
