ROLE OVERVIEW

Lead end-to-end clinical data management delivery for assigned projects, ensuring contractual commitments, quality standards, timelines, and sponsor expectations are met. Coordinate data management teams, manage project finances and resources, and provide client-facing leadership across study delivery.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Act as Functional Lead and primary liaison for Data Management activities
  • •Coordinate Data Management and Data Operations teams
  • •Ensure launch, delivery, and completion of data management activities and milestones
  • •Manage project finances, revenue recognition, scope changes, and internal project reviews
  • •Monitor and communicate project progress using status reports, tracking tools, and metrics
  • •Plan and request project resources and maintain project plans and documentation
  • •Maintain TMF filing and support internal, sponsor, third-party, and investigator meetings and audits
  • •Train and mentor data management staff and support proposal bid defense activities
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to a senior Clinical Data Management or Operations leader; leads and coordinates assigned Data Management/Data Operations resources and collaborates with Project Management, Clinical Monitoring, Finance, Contracts, and sponsor stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in biological sciences or related natural science/healthcare discipline, or Registered Nurse
  • 10+ years of Clinical Data Management experience
  • Experience leading studies with client-facing exposure
  • End-to-end CDM experience covering setup, conduct, and closeout
  • Rave CDMS experience
  • Strong project management, staff leadership, communication, presentation, organization, and decision-making skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • •Oncology therapeutic area experience
  • •Phase 1 and clinical pharmacology experience
  • •CRO experience
  • •Oracle Clinical or InForm experience
  • •Knowledge of medical terminology and ICH/GCP
