ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Samahitha CR is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-I in its Business Development department at Bengaluru. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 1-2 years of experience in Business Development, Clinical Research, CRO operations, or pharmaceutical services.
Candidates with strong communication skills, client relationship management experience, and knowledge of clinical research processes are encouraged to apply. Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Build a new customer base through networking, personal contacts, web research, emails, cold calling, social media outreach, and industry conferences.
Identify and approach pharmaceutical companies, CROs, biotech organizations, and healthcare clients.
Conduct market research and evaluate company websites for potential business opportunities.
Prepare business proposals and support contract discussions.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and sponsors.
Provide regular updates on project progress and deliverables.
Coordinate with sponsor representatives and stakeholders.
Assist clinical teams in project documentation, reporting, and communication.
Support preparation of clinical trial research plans with CROs and pharmaceutical organizations.
Review study files and maintain project documentation.
Handle Clinical Trial Supplies and Case Report Forms (CRFs).
Serve as a central point of communication for project-related activities.
Attend clinical research and pharmaceutical industry conferences.
Gather market intelligence and identify emerging business opportunities.
Stay updated with clinical research regulations and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
1-2 years of experience in Business Development, Clinical Research, CRO, or Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good command of the English language.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Ability to build professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Knowledge of ICH Guidelines and clinical research regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with clinical trial documentation and protocol requirements.

COMPENSATION & REWARDS
₹3.5L - 5.5L per annum
The estimated standard salary range for a Business Development role in Clinical Research in Bengaluru at this experience level is ₹3.5 LPA to ₹5.5 LPA, depending on candidate qualifications.
