Medical Science Liaison Diabetes Care

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for exchanging and disseminating scientific, educational and research-related information and building professional scientific relationships with Thought Leaders, Medical Societies and other external healthcare stakeholders. The role supports Bayer's Medical Affairs objectives through proactive and reactive scientific engagement, education, congress participation, Advisory Board activities, Thought Leader strategy and accurate activity reporting.

The role is focused on Diabetes Care and requires basic knowledge of the relevant therapy area and associated molecules. The supplied requirements also reference Chronic Kidney Disease and Oncology-related therapeutic knowledge as part of the broader concerned therapy-area expectations.

Candidates should have a basic understanding of clinical trials, including clinical-trial design and the rationale behind different study approaches. This knowledge supports effective scientific discussions with healthcare professionals and Thought Leaders.

The MSL acts as a scientific interface between Bayer and external medical stakeholders.
