Medical Science Liaison CKM/ DC

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for scientific, educational and research-related information exchange with Thought Leaders (TLs), Medical Societies and other external healthcare stakeholders. The role involves proactive and reactive scientific engagement, dissemination and clarification of scientific data, clinical-study information and professional literature, while operating in alignment with local regulations and the Medical Affairs plan.

The role requires basic knowledge of the concerned therapeutic areas, including Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Diabetes and Oncology, together with familiarity with relevant molecules. Candidates should understand fundamental clinical-trial concepts, including trial design and rationale.

The MSL serves as a scientific interface between Bayer and external medical stakeholders. The position requires effective engagement with doctors, Thought Leaders, Medical Societies and Advisory Boards, as well as participation in congresses and scientific education activities. The role also contributes to competitive intelligence and internal Medical Affairs understanding of the external scientific environment.
