ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Medical Affairs Manager responsible for executing and implementing clinical strategies for BD MDS across assigned regions/territories in alignment with market requirements and the country business plan. The role focuses on creating a clinically differentiated market position through clinical marketing education programs, seminars, promotional events and in-service programs; engaging KOLs; building clinical capabilities within the regional MDS sales organization and channel partners; developing regional customer engagement calendars; supporting product evaluations, hospital clinical audits, protocols and processes; resolving technical/product-application challenges; building key customer relationships and regional KOL networks; coordinating clinical and economic studies; and conducting induction, clinical, product, refresher and proficiency training programs. The role involves close collaboration with Regional Sales Managers, sales associates, Associate Directors and regional/global teams, as well as external engagement with hospital CEOs, Medical Directors, Superintendents, KOLs, nursing leadership and channel partners. Success requires clinical/laboratory understanding, business acumen, customer focus, influencing without authority, relationship building, communication, public speaking, presentation and training skills, learning agility and strong interpersonal relationships. Qualification listed is MBBS, with MBA preferred. The position requires 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
