ROLE OVERVIEW
Provide statistical expertise, lead clinical study analyses, and drive tech-enabled transformation in biostatistics at Amgen Hyderabad.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Provide statistical contributions, review, and quality control of study design documents and protocols
- •Serve as GBS lead on Clinical Study Teams
- •Oversee statistical analysis plans, tables, figures, and listings (TFLs)
- •Collaborate cross-functional to deliver robust analysis results
- •Stay abreast of latest statistical developments in drug development and AI integration
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to Director / Senior Director, Biostatistics • Team size: Cross-functional global clinical teams
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MSc or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field
- At least 6-8 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in machine learning
- Life-cycle drug development experience
- Proven ability to apply statistical methods in clinical development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Doctorate degree in Statistics/Biostatistics
- •Experience in machine learning, real world data analytics, electronic health record data analysis, clinical trial simulation
- •Experience working in globally dispersed team environments
