ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Requirements

The Pharmacovigilance Scientist plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and benefit-risk assessment of pharmaceutical products. They are responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of safety data, contributing to signal detection and evaluation, and providing scientific expertise to support pharmacovigilance activities. This position requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of drug safety regulations, and the ability to interpret complex scientific information.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate safety data from various sources, including clinical trials, post-marketing surveillance, literature, and regulatory databases.
Identify and assess potential safety signals, including new risks, safety concerns, and emerging patterns, through systematic review and analysis of safety data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development and implementation of risk management plans, safety profiles, and product labeling.
Provide scientific expertise and support in safety-related discussions, including safety committees, regulatory submissions, and product safety reviews.
Conduct literature searches and critically review scientific literature for safety information and relevant pharmacovigilance data.
Participate in safety surveillance activities, such as signal detection, signal validation, and signal evaluation, to ensure timely identification and assessment of safety signals.
Prepare high-quality pharmacovigilance documents, including safety assessment reports, aggregate safety reports, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
Stay updated on evolving pharmacovigilance regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.

COMPENSATION & REWARDS

₹3.0L - 6.0L per annum
The expected salary range for this role is INR 300,000 to INR 600,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
