ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Manage data-cleaning activities for specified clients and clinical studies.
Liaise directly with client/CRO Data Managers during study start-up to develop an appropriate query-management strategy.
Implement and maintain the data-cleaning schedule in accordance with the established query-management strategy.
Maintain visibility of data-lock schedules and ensure reconciliation activities are completed before data-lock periods.
Ensure seamless communication and timely follow-up with selected external clients and internal stakeholders.
Analyze client data discrepancies and update the database according to client requirements and applicable Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements where appropriate.
Lead communication with other departments to resolve discrepancies through to final resolution.
Provide direct responses and advice to external and internal clients, including explaining when a requested action is not directly feasible.
Negotiate timelines with stakeholders when required and involve clients in decision-making so their requirements are appropriately considered.
Client & Cross-Functional Management
Act as the primary strategic representative between selected external clients and Labcorp departments for data-reconciliation activities.
Review study Statements of Work (SOWs) to confirm that requests comply with the applicable study protocol when appropriate.
Lead escalation of issues that could prevent discrepancies from being resolved on time.
Manage workload and priorities to ensure all client deadlines are met.
Work in a team-oriented, global and multicultural environment with a strong internal and external customer-service focus.
Quality & Data Standards
Perform quality checks on data revisions and responses provided to clients.
Generate and review Labcorp database reports and resolve identified issues.
Ensure data reconciliation, query management and database updates are performed accurately and in accordance with applicable study requirements and GCP standards.
Process & Management Support
Assist and support management with implementation of global processes and procedures to ensure seamless integration.
Maintain effective and timely adherence to management communications, meetings and established procedures.
Work Schedule
Rotating shift schedule.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Science.
Preferred Qualification
Master's degree in Science.
Six years of relevant clinical-research industry experience.
