ROLE OVERVIEW

The Associate Manager Quality Control will perform analytical method validation, transfer and verification activities while supporting quality control testing and GMP compliance at Pfizer's Vizag location.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Perform analytical method transfer validation and verification
  • •evaluate analytical data for accuracy precision trends and cGMP impact
  • •maintain GMP and GLP-compliant quality documentation
  • •review and update SOPs analytical methods and technical documents
  • •analyse finished products raw materials and components
  • •prepare and execute method validation protocols
  • •perform compendial method gap assessments for new product introduction
  • •execute method verification and transfer activities
  • •apply quality risk management principles
  • •handle OOS and OOT through QMS
  • •perform identification assay purity and related testing
  • •monitor CPPs and CQAs
  • •support process validation and troubleshooting
  • •manage working standards
  • •handle change controls and CAPA actions

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy
  • 8-10 years of experience in Analytical Method Transfer or Validation
  • qualification in multiple analytical techniques including HPLC with Empower GC IC ICP-MS Potentiometry UV-Vis FTIR Karl Fischer and pH meters
  • technical skills in method validation and testing
  • ability to interpret compendial methods SOPs technical procedures and governmental regulations
  • knowledge of ICH Q2 R1/R2 USP and EP
  • knowledge of ICH Q9 quality risk management
  • experience with OOS and OOT through QMS
  • knowledge of GMP
  • strong organizational skills
  • strong written and verbal communication
  • proficiency with quality control instruments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • •Laboratory experience using analytical HPLC GC and IC or ICP-MS
  • •experience leading continuous improvement projects
  • •knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
