ROLE OVERVIEW

Associate Data Manager supporting Premier Research's Functional Services Provider team, responsible for clinical data review, database quality, data queries, data management planning, CRF/edit-check testing, and clinical data listing validation.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Review clinical trial data in CDMS/EDC systems
  • •Provide input to and review Data Management Plans
  • •Generate and manage data queries with sites, vendors, CRAs and clients
  • •Review query responses and resolve database discrepancies
  • •Support CRF and edit-check specification development and testing
  • •Perform user acceptance testing of study-specific data listings
  • •Maintain CRF, edit-check and data-listing testing documentation
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports within the Functional Services Provider (FSP) clinical data management organization; collaborates with clinical sites, vendors, CRAs, client representatives and internal study teams

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent, preferably in technical, clinical or health-related field
  • 3-5 years practical experience with commercial clinical data management systems and/or EDC products
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and demonstrate customer-focused task ownership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • •Experience with Oracle RDC/Inform
  • •Experience with Medidata Rave or DataLabs
  • •Equivalent combination of education, training and experience covering primary data management functions
  • •Experience supporting clinical study deliverables
