ROLE OVERVIEW
Drive technical strategy and architecture for Global Patient Safety (GPS) platforms, blending hands-on coding with AI and Veeva expertise at Lilly Bengaluru.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Portfolio Architecture Ownership — own end-to-end technical architecture across the Safety ecosystem (Case Management, Signals, Reporting) and connected platforms.
- •AI / Agentic Architecture Enablement — convert emerging AI/agentic use cases into production-ready solutions scaling across the portfolio.
- •Governance, Risk & GxP Compliance — embed audit-readiness, change-control, and CSV compliance into architecture patterns.
- •Vendor Independence & Knowledge Retention — serve as primary technical authority, reducing reliance on vendors and protecting long-term design integrity.
- •Product & Business Partnership — translate business strategy into technology capabilities in partnership with Patient Safety and Quality stakeholders.
- •Global Leadership — represent GPS Tech in global architecture forums and promote product operating model principles.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
- 12+ years in IT/enterprise architecture with 4+ years in pharmacovigilance/patient safety
- Experience designing and deploying AI/agentic solutions
- Deep hands-on experience with Pharmacovigilance safety systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Veeva Vault platform training/certification
- •Experience in global distributed delivery models and enterprise architecture forums
