Senior Manager, Materials and Planning

Direct and optimize end-to-end master production scheduling and materials planning processes to ensure uncompromised compliance with FDA, cGMP, and internal SOP standards.

Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ERP systems to calculate material demand, schedule production runs, and maintain optimal raw material inventory levels while minimizing holding costs.

Partner with the Product Development Group to forecast, specify, and secure raw materials and components needed for new product introductions and manufacturing scale-ups.

Oversee site-wide procurement of direct/indirect materials, lab supplies, capital equipment, and operational services, capturing strategic cost-saving opportunities.

Oversee complete warehouse operations ensuring timely receiving, quarantine, material sampling, storage, material issuance, and final goods shipping.

Establish and monitor compliant material workflow routing, warehouse storage mapping, cold-chain controls, and site-wide inventory flow tracking.

Maintain warehouse inspection readiness for regulatory audits (US FDA, cGMP) and customer quality assessments.

Manage vendor relations, supplier performance evaluations, and contract negotiations.

Supervise, mentor, hire, and develop warehouse staff, material handlers, and purchasing buyers across both exempt and non-exempt teams.
