ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities & Digital Transformation
Join Amgen's Transformative Digital Capabilities (TDC) organization within Process Development to drive digital transformation through advanced analytics, scalable data products, and AI-enabled workflows.
Partner cross-functionally with process development scientists, bioprocess engineers, and technology teams to unlock insights from complex scientific and manufacturing datasets.
Design, build, and deploy machine learning models, statistical analyses, and decision-support tools to accelerate biomanufacturing innovation and operational decision-making.
Advanced Modeling, AI & Data Stewardship
Apply advanced statistical modeling, time-series forecasting, exploratory data analysis, and predictive machine learning techniques to optimize process development workflows.
Lead the development and operational deployment of AI-enabled solutions, including Generative AI and automated analytical frameworks.
Collaborate closely with data and engineering teams to enhance data quality, accessibility, data governance, and metadata stewardship across regulated pipelines.
Design and implement intuitive dashboards and reporting views using tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, or Power BI.
Project Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
Lead analytics workstreams, define quantifiable success metrics, and present actionable technical findings to cross-functional executive stakeholders.
Mentor peers on data science methodologies, statistical best practices, and agile delivery standards.
