ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

P&L & Business Strategy Ownership: Hold complete end-to-end P&L accountability and portfolio management for the Rare Disease franchise under the Specialty Care portfolio, delivering topline revenue targets, operating profitability (BOI), and long-term business blueprints aligned with the 'India for India' growth plan.
Go-To-Market (GTM) & Omnichannel Innovation: Spearhead innovative Go-To-Market (GTM) customer engagement models and digital-first omnichannel strategies to optimize OPEX, accelerate diagnosis-to-treatment access pathways, and drive demand realization.
Market Access & Policy Shaping: Formulate strategic solutions to navigate and resolve the diagnostic odyssey for rare diseases in India. Collaborate with internal and external healthcare stakeholders, patient advocacy groups, and regulators to bridge access gaps and shape public healthcare policy for new therapeutic launches.
KOL Engagement & Medical Symposia: Build and leverage high-level relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), specialized clinicians, and healthcare networks through scientific symposia, advisory boards, and structured field visits to expand brand visibility and capture market insights.
Team Leadership & Culture: Lead, mentor, and build high-performing commercial and field teams, establishing talent development pipelines, cross-functional collaboration with medical affairs/supply chain, and enforcing strict compliance with Sanofi Ethics & Business Integrity (E&BI) guidelines.

Technical & Commercial Standards

Advanced commercial acumen across sales forecasting, budgeting, portfolio sequencing, and healthcare regulatory governance.
Strong familiarity with patient access programs, rare disease diagnostics, and hospital/institutional buying dynamics in India.
