ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Read, understand, and program Medidata Rave Edit Checks and Custom Functions using C# programming based on Data Validation Specifications and client requirements.
Work with Rave and Custom Function requirements to support clinical data validation activities.
Maintain a good working understanding of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
Perform post-production changes and support operational issue resolution.
Provide suggestions and practical solutions for operational issues.
Interact with corporate and Clinical Data Management (CDM) team members to coordinate and negotiate timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
Build internal tools for quality and similar metrics using Excel, Visual Studio, or other appropriate platforms.
Technical & Domain Expertise
Strong technical capability in C#.NET and sound understanding of coding and software development processes.
Hands-on knowledge of Medidata Rave, Rave Edit Checks, and Custom Functions.
Understanding of EDC systems and clinical data workflows.
Good clinical knowledge, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and other standard clinical research practices.
Basic knowledge of systems and application programming.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required.
Minimum of 2 years of applications programming experience is required.
Role accepts candidates with 2 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
Collaboration & Business Impact
Coordinate with corporate and CDM stakeholders to deliver programming work according to agreed timelines and responsibilities.
Contribute to operational quality through effective issue resolution and internal quality/metrics tools.
Support client requirements by translating data validation specifications into reliable Rave programming solutions.
