ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Lead Programming & Project Oversight: Act as the lead statistical programmer, project lead, or oversight lead across complex, multi-phase clinical trial studies and drug programs. Manage end-to-end bioinformatics and statistical programming from study design through final analysis and reporting.
Timeline & Resource Management: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and client representatives to lead project meetings, develop timelines, forecast staffing needs, and oversee study budgets and contractual deliverables.
Process Automation & Efficiency Tools: Propose, design, and implement advanced programming tools and automated utilities to optimize statistical report generation, CDISC data workflows, and program validation standards.
Client & Regulatory Interactions: Represent the department in client governance meetings, bid defenses, and regulatory agency clinical data submissions.
Mentorship & Quality Standards: Train, mentor, and guide junior programmers, conduct peer code reviews, assist in recruitment, and author departmental standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
Technical & Domain Standards
Comprehensive mastery of SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH, Macro facility) and database management for complex clinical trial data structures.
In-depth adherence to ICH guidelines, GCP principles, CDISC (SDTM/ADaM) standards, and regulatory submission requirements (FDA, EMA).
Work Environment
Second Shift (Afternoons) schedule in an office environment with occasional domestic or international travel.
