Role Overview
Neuroscience Specialist, Health and Science Professional (HSP) is a remote, field-based sales role supporting Pfizer's Neuroscience/Migraine Team. The HSP is responsible for increasing territory sales, developing customer relationships, managing assigned accounts, and implementing compliant product promotion and business strategies. The role requires strong customer, market, business, analytical, product, and disease-state knowledge, along with the ability to engage healthcare professionals both face-to-face and virtually.
Core Responsibilities
Drive sales within the assigned territory.
Engage customers through both in-person and virtual interactions.
Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans.
Identify and execute live and virtual customer engagement strategies to maximize effectiveness and impact.
Build strong rapport and long-term relationships with customers across live and virtual environments.
Use existing and evolving digital and virtual engagement tools to maintain effective customer interactions.
Understand and leverage internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
Use product and disease-state knowledge compliantly to educate healthcare providers about unbranded and branded product value propositions for relevant patient populations.
Appropriately utilize approved clinically oriented disease-state information and patient resources when applicable.
Collaborate effectively across Pfizer to address customer inquiries and advance business objectives.
Complete all required administrative activities accurately, on time, and in compliance with company requirements.

Neuroscience & Disease-State Focus
Support Pfizer's advancing Neuroscience portfolio and the Migraine Team's mission to promote breakthrough therapies for patients suffering from migraine.
Maintain strong product and disease-state knowledge.
Communicate approved clinical disease-state information appropriately and compliantly.
Educate relevant healthcare providers regarding product value propositions and patient populations.
Compliance & Professional Standards
Conduct all promotional and customer activities in accordance with Pfizer policies and applicable requirements.
Use only approved product, disease-state, and patient-resource information for customer education.
Complete administrative responsibilities compliantly and within required timelines.
Maintain an acceptable driving record and comply with Pfizer's field-sales requirements.
Any DUI/DWI or other impaired-driving citation within the previous seven years disqualifies a candidate from hiring under the stated requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more qualifying areas, including professional sales/promotional activity, small-business ownership or entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service, account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, education, or full-time military experience.
Alternatively, an associate degree with 6+ years of relevant experience may qualify.
Alternatively, a high school diploma/equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience may qualify.
Must live within 25 miles of the border of the assigned territory.
Valid U.S. driver's license required.
Driving record must comply with Pfizer company standards.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical sales, and/or medical-related marketing experience.
Strong record of sales or marketing success.
Strong territory-management skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, accountability, and customer-engagement capability.
Experience with the relevant disease states, therapeutic area, and products.
Knowledge of territory customers and markets, including prescribers, healthcare professionals, institutions, and organizations.
Residence within the assigned territory boundaries.
Territory & Work Arrangement
Geography includes Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and South Alabama.
Work location assignment: Remote - Field Based.
The position requires physical residence within the specified territory requirements and the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory for customer engagement.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and eligibility.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual base salary range: $76,000-$199,600 USD.
Additional quarterly Sales Incentive bonus opportunity.
During initial new-hire sales training, the employee is classified as salary non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay.
After training certification, the employee becomes overtime exempt.
