ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities & Causal Measurement
Lead end-to-end causal inference and business impact measurement initiatives to rigorously evaluate the commercial effectiveness of omnichannel and customer engagement strategies.
Design, implement, and analyze experimental frameworks (A/B testing) and quasi-experimental methods to quantify incremental business impact and guide strategic decision-making.
Develop, scale, and maintain multi-touch attribution frameworks across field force interactions and digital customer engagement channels.
Partner cross-functionally with commercial business units to translate complex business challenges into quantifiable statistical and causal questions.
Advanced Modeling & Mentorship
Apply advanced econometric and quasi-experimental techniques, including Propensity Score Matching (PSM), Difference-in-Differences (DiD), Synthetic Controls, and Uplift Modeling.
Process, manipulate, and model large-scale healthcare datasets using Python, SQL, and enterprise cloud data environments.
Mentor and guide data scientists, championing industry best practices and methodological rigor in causal analytics, measurement science, and experimentation.
Impact & Culture
Utilize advanced data science and measurement methodologies to optimize commercial strategies, enhance HCP engagement, and better address patient needs across Amgen's global portfolio.
