Role Overview
Key Accounts Specialist responsible for achieving Women's Health sales objectives in Tamil Nadu, with a primary focus on Chennai. The role manages business growth across standalone hospitals, corporate hospital chains, and standalone clinics through key-account management, product promotion, networking, relationship building, market shaping, and strategic stakeholder engagement.
Sales & Business Development Responsibilities
Achieve quarterly sales targets with monthly performance monitoring.
Maintain and grow business across existing hospital and clinic accounts.
Identify new business opportunities with individual accounts and corporate hospital chains.
Implement Organon's marketing and promotional activities effectively within the assigned geography.
Provide real-time sales forecasts for assigned territories and achieve quarterly targets.
Drive key-account management through stakeholder mapping and relationship development.
Establish strong relationships with Procurement Heads, purchase teams, hospital leadership teams, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Ensure inclusion and annual renewal of Organon products in hospital formularies.
Establish suitable and sustainable product-supply channels.
Support successful launches of newly introduced products, including products outside Women's Health where applicable.
Identify appropriate customer segments and implement company strategy to achieve or exceed sales expectations.
Stakeholder Engagement
Develop and manage relationship networks with healthcare professionals and distributors.
Build and maintain a positive Organon image to support sales objectives and efficient sales operations.
Organize market-shaping activities and scientific meetings at local and regional levels.
Engage healthcare professionals through scientific meetings to increase awareness of Organon products and contribute to improved patient outcomes.
Maintain high ethical and professional standards in all customer and business interactions.
Administrative & CRM Responsibilities
Complete administrative requirements accurately and on time.
Maintain clear understanding and effective use of company CRM systems.
Keep CRM information and account records updated in a timely manner.
Submit reports, presentations, and forecasts according to company requirements.
Participate in relevant professional meetings and demonstrate Organon values and leadership behaviors.
Maintain proficiency in MS Office and other relevant computer applications.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent.
At least 5+ years of healthcare sales, key-account management, or business-development experience.
Strong track record in healthcare sales and an entrepreneurial mindset preferred.
Experience independently managing end-to-end key accounts for large corporate clients.
Ability to coordinate with Purchase, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Administration, and other internal and external departments throughout client lifecycles.
Proven ability to develop Key Opinion Leaders across multiple specialties; Women's Health or Dermatology experience is an added advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel approximately 70%-80% beyond the headquarters/work location.
Willingness to relocate and remain mobile to support critical business priorities.
Valid driver's license required.
