ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic account plans for key corporate hospitals and institutional accounts while achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives. Drive hospital business growth through value-based selling, customer relationship management, institutional business development, and strategic account expansion.

Key Account Management

Manage corporate hospitals and institutional key accounts within the assigned territory.
Identify new hospital opportunities and expand existing accounts.
Build relationships with KOLs, KBLs, hospital administrators, purchase teams, pharmacists, microbiologists, intensivists, infectious disease specialists, anaesthesiologists, and other healthcare stakeholders.
Conduct account reviews, evaluate account performance, and implement corrective actions.
Develop conversion strategies for new product introductions and institutional business.
Maintain customer satisfaction and address service or business concerns.

Sales & Commercial Execution

Achieve territory sales targets and drive sustainable business growth.
Prepare state-wise sales forecasts and align execution with budgets.
Promote Amneal product differentiators and strengthen brand recall.
Monitor competitor activity, market dynamics, customer segmentation, and commercial intelligence.
Maintain accurate CRM records and regularly update the Must-See List (MSL).
Track KPIs, sales dashboards, reporting, and execution analytics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence, Finance, and other internal teams to execute account strategies, product launches, customer initiatives, and business plans.

Product & Domain Focus

The role focuses on hospital pharmaceutical business, with preference for candidates experienced in Anti-infectives, Critical Care, High-End Antibiotics, or related specialty portfolios.

Compliance & Leadership

Ensure all customer interactions and commercial activities comply with company policies, healthcare-industry regulations, and ethical selling standards. Demonstrate ownership, accountability, entrepreneurial thinking, analytical ability, and strong business acumen.

Business Impact

The position directly contributes to institutional sales growth, corporate hospital account expansion, product adoption, customer retention, forecasting accuracy, and achievement of commercial objectives across the assigned territory.
