ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Overview
Develop, maintain, and analyze project and study forecasts supporting operational and financial decision-making.
Collaborate closely with Clinical Operations, Finance, Project Management, and other cross-functional teams.
Ensure forecast accuracy, identify risks, and provide actionable business insights.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project and study forecasts using operational and financial data.
Analyze forecast assumptions, trends, and variances against actual performance.
Monitor enrollment, milestones, site activations, and project timelines to improve forecast accuracy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to collect forecast inputs and validate assumptions.
Support monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, governance reviews, and management reporting.
Identify forecast risks, data-quality issues, and potential financial impacts.
Perform scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
Create dashboards, reports, and executive summaries to support business decisions.
Drive process-improvement and forecasting-automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in forecasting, business analytics, resource planning, clinical operations, project management, or related areas.
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP.
Experience with forecasting models and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong stakeholder-management skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple functions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in clinical research, CRO, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
Knowledge of enrollment forecasting, investigator-grants forecasting, project financial management, and resource planning.
Familiarity with CTMS, EDC, Oracle, Power BI, or similar forecasting platforms.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
