ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Execute timely sampling and analytical testing in strict alignment with defined turnaround times (TAT).
Maintain first-time-right standards during routine analytical procedures and documentation.
Operate and maintain advanced and standard analytical laboratory equipment.
Prepare volumetric standards, reagents, and stock solutions accurately according to protocols.
Document all test results, observations, and logbook entries in full accordance with department guidelines and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
Actively participate in shift monitoring, routine laboratory operations, and shift handovers.
Contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) teams for quality deviations and out-of-specification investigations.
Technical & Domain Standards
Execute hands-on testing using advanced instrumentation including HPLC, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and Gas Chromatography (GC).
Perform core classical chemical analyses including manual/automated titrations, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and FTIR spectroscopy.
Design, optimize, and validate robust analytical procedures in compliance with regulated life science standards.
Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and write/update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Drive data trending and continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events to enhance lab efficiency.
Leadership & Impact
Communicate clear, accurate technical findings to supervisors, cross-functional peers, and stakeholders.
Support dynamic laboratory operations across shift schedules while consistently meeting key quality KPIs.
Drive operational excellence by proactively identifying process bottlenecks and standardizing analytical workflows.
