ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management: Lead daily receiving, proper storage, staging, material issuance, and dispatch operations for raw materials, primary/secondary packaging materials, engineering consumables, and finished goods to maintain uninterrupted plant production and market supply.
Quality Management & Compliance (cGMP/GDP): Ensure complete compliance with cGMP, GDP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), status labeling, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain continuous audit/inspection readiness for internal, regulatory (USFDA, MHRA, WHO), and customer audits.
QMS Implementation & Incident Handling: Drive warehouse Quality Management Systems (QMS) by handling deviations, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), managing change controls, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHSS): Champion a proactive safety culture through Zero Accident Promotion (ZAP) hazard reporting, statutory EHS compliance, safety incident investigations, and safe operational practices across the facility.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Leverage GSK Production System (GPS) lean tools, Tier meetings, Gemba walks, process confirmations, and Kaizen projects to improve throughput, operational efficiency, cost reduction, and space optimization.
Inventory Control & SAP Transactions: Execute and govern end-to-end SAP warehouse transactions to guarantee material traceability, inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and accurate stock auditing.
Resource & People Leadership: Supervise, coach, and build technical capabilities among warehouse personnel, managing attendance, safety discipline, and routine operational performance reviews. Manage material handling equipment (MHE), pallet washing operations, and waste disposal.
Technical & Domain Standards
Comprehensive mastery of pharmaceutical cGMP/GDP standards, cold chain maintenance, and inventory reconciliation.
Strong proficiency in SAP ERP modules (WM/MM/SD) for end-to-end materials tracking and batch record verification.
