ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Role Overview

Provide senior operational leadership for clinical trial delivery in India as part of the Global Clinical Trial Services leadership team.
Ensure high-quality, compliant execution of clinical trials across India while partnering with global functional leaders, site-management teams, and vendor organizations.
Support Regeneron's India operations within a fast-growing, science-driven clinical-development organization.

Core Responsibilities

Lead clinical trial services in India from feasibility through site close.
Manage, develop, and provide leadership to India-based employees and Functional Service Provider (FSP) teams.
Partner with global functional leaders to align India clinical operations with worldwide standards and expectations.
Build and maintain relationships with clinical sites, investigators, and Indian regulatory authorities.
Champion development and strengthening of clinical-trial infrastructure in India in partnership with site-management functions.
Oversee FSP resource planning, contractual activities, and vendor performance.
Connect regional and global teams through effective cross-cultural communication.
Drive operational process improvements and standard methodologies while maintaining clinical-trial compliance.

Clinical & Regulatory Expertise

Deep understanding of the Indian clinical research landscape and regulatory environment.
Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements.
Knowledge of International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines and applicable Indian clinical-research regulations.
Familiarity with site management, site start-up, trial optimization, and centralized monitoring.
