Director, CX Analytics & Optimization Technical Suite Lead

Lead the technical direction for Customer Analytics & Insights and Performance Analytics & Optimization capabilities within Jazz Pharmaceuticals' product-oriented operating model.

Lead a team comprising technical owners for Performance Optimization, Predictive Algorithms, Analytics & Insights and Global Performance Reporting, along with development teams and vendor partners.

Drive scalable technology capabilities supporting customer experience, analytics, reporting, predictive modeling, marketing optimization, and enterprise insights.

Set and drive technical direction aligned with product strategy and enterprise priorities.

Partner with CX Suite Leads to create value-focused technical roadmaps.

Own budget and resource allocation and make investment decisions across capabilities and teams.

Translate product roadmaps into scalable architectures and development plans.

Work with Enterprise AI and Analytics & Automation Capability Leads to assess feasibility, dependencies, and risks.

Ensure consistent KPI frameworks, governed measurement, and decision-ready analytics.

Support workforce planning, capability development, and evolution of the operating model.

Manage vendor partners with accountability for quality and delivery.

Oversee consolidated insights products that standardize and accelerate insight generation.

Support enterprise reporting products delivering governed KPIs and decision-ready insights through platforms such as Power BI.

Lead technology supporting digital analytics and in-house marketing mix solutions for campaign measurement, investment optimization, ROI, and engagement impact.

Oversee predictive analytics products supporting targeting and engagement strategies.

Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and compliant.

Design and govern enterprise analytics data models including star schemas, semantic models, DAX/Power BI, KPI definitions, and reusable datasets.

Apply analytics-engineering principles, performance optimization, and appropriate separation of data, semantic, and visualization layers.

Deliver enterprise reporting using development standards, CI/CD practices, quality gates, data contracts, refresh SLAs, lineage, and metric consistency.

Guide predictive-model development, explainability, deployment, monitoring, drift detection, retraining, and retirement using production-grade ML/AI engineering and model-governance practices.

Translate predictive and analytical outputs into trusted, explainable, operationally usable artifacts for commercial stakeholders.

Apply enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and data architecture across analytics, insights, and reporting.

Work with cloud data platforms including Redshift and Snowflake and analytics/data-engineering technologies including Python and R.

Serve as the primary technical accountability point across Customer Analytics & Insights and Performance Analytics & Optimization suites.

Partner with architects, security, data teams, Tech Leads, Capability Owners, development teams, and adjacent platforms.

Coordinate roadmap dependencies, integrations, architectural decisions, and cross-team technical issues.

Collaborate with CX Data Tech Leads and Enterprise Data & AI leaders on shared infrastructure, integration standards, and AI/ML enablement.

Represent architecture, platform, and delivery considerations in domain, cross-suite, and executive forums.

Lead and develop high-performing technical and development teams.

Manage resource planning, performance management, accountability, and talent development.

Demonstrate technical program management across complex initiatives.

Coordinate vendors and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Apply Agile product-development and Product Operating Model principles.

Apply strategic storytelling, critical thinking, business acumen, customer-journey understanding, outside-in thinking, and matrix collaboration.

Negotiate scope and deliverables and manage trade-offs involving resources, priorities, risks, and outcomes.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.

10+ years of post-bachelor's experience, or 8+ years after a master's degree, in software engineering, technical architecture, or enterprise platform delivery management.

3+ years as a Tech Lead, Technical Program Manager, Engineering Manager, or comparable developer-management role.

6-8 years of people leadership experience.

Demonstrated enterprise-scale analytics, reporting, or modeling platform delivery.

Hands-on Python and R experience and cloud data-platform experience with Redshift and Snowflake.

Experience guiding architecture in complex matrixed organizations and applying Agile/Product Operating Model principles.

Preferred: advanced technical degree, pharmaceutical/healthcare experience, product-leadership partnership, and rare-disease or specialty-brand experience.

Remote/home-based role in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

10-20% travel required.
