ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Investigate and document downstream impacts of Skills and Job Architecture data quality issues across payroll processing, management reporting, third-party integrations, and AI/ML model inputs.
Monitor enterprise-wide adoption of global data standards, proactively flagging local deviations, non-standard values, or workarounds within Workday taxonomy.
Conduct structured root cause analyses using Python and SQL across Workday and Snowflake data assets to distinguish isolated errors from systemic issues.
Build reusable investigation toolkits, diagnostic scripts, and automated data quality pipelines to validate, profile, and monitor data at scale.
Design and implement data observability practices including data lineage tracking, freshness monitoring, and schema validation across Skills and Job Architecture domains.
Develop automated monitoring dashboards (e.g., Power BI) and alert mechanisms to catch anomalies before downstream AI model consumption.
Develop and execute Python-based remediation scripts, automated correction workflows, and Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) mass loads to remediate data defects.
Collaborate closely with Global Process Owners (GPO) and Workday Technology teams to drive structural fixes, configuration changes, and governance policy enhancements.
Technical & Domain Standards
Ensure Human Capital and MDM data assets adhere strictly to Sanofi's AI-Ready Data Framework standards for talent matching, Skills Cloud, and Career Hub.
Track and report on AI-Ready Data KPI scoring, DQ rule coverage, Informatica CDGC metadata cataloging, data classification, and data privacy governance.
Leadership & Impact
Bridge the gap between business operations and technical data engineering teams by translating data quality requirements into actionable MDM specifications.
Proactively manage data risks affecting global reporting accuracy, enterprise skills transformation, and corporate AI enablement.
