ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities & Lakehouse Engineering
Build, test, monitor, and maintain enterprise production data pipelines across Clinical and Non-Clinical data domains using Python, SQL, and PySpark.
Implement Medallion lakehouse patterns (Bronze, Silver, Gold), Change Data Capture (CDC), schema evolution, and idempotent reprocessing on Databricks with Delta Lake.
Curate high-quality, analytics-ready data products with documented contracts and schemas to support downstream analytics and autonomous agent systems.
Instrument enterprise data lineage, cataloging, and governance within Databricks Unity Catalog and Lilly Data Hub platforms.
Agentic AI & LLM Engineering
Design and engineer agentic AI components, multi-agent workflows, tool-calling systems, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using frameworks like LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
Implement intelligent model-routing configurations to direct tasks to optimal LLMs based on latency, cost, and accuracy criteria (Right Model

and hybrid search architectures to ground LLMs in governed enterprise and clinical data.
* Implement automated LLM evaluation harnesses
